It's been a while since I've had a chance to post anything. The weekend was crazy. So many people here. Most people arrived on Friday night. I went to meet Grill and Suki from the staion at 10pm. This photo was taken in the lift at our place. Grill's pose set a precedent for the rest of his photos from the weekend.


I hope he sends me some of his photos soon.

So, Friday night was spent with everyone who'd made it so far at the Plein Soleil around the corner from us by Parmentier metro. In the morning we all gathered at our place and went to Notre Dame and then the Effiel Tower to meet the rest of the arrivals.


By Saturday afternoon there was 23 of us!

In the evening we all met up at our place and Lucy cooked up a meal for all 23 people. Quite a feat using just the little electric cooker that we have, but it worked out really well. Much food was eaten and then the cake was bought out.


At 10:30 everyone headed to St Maur, which is a strip of restaurants and bars about 5 minutes from our place. (everything is 5 minutes away in Paris!). It all gets a little hazy from there, and I was doing a lot of running around to make sure everyone got back to their metro stops etc, but it seemed like everyone had a good time.


Sunday morning was a pretty mellow one. It was raining, so everyone met came over to our place again for breakfast.


After that, some people had trains to catch and others went off to do some site seeing. Most of us pottered around for a while and then headed to a restaurant near Pere LaChaise for some lunch.
