Burnt!
This is Anthony's first trip to Paris, so we thought we'd try to see as much as possible of the city.
We walked down to Bastille and then along the river, dropping by the Notre Dame, stopping off for some lunch and then across to river to walk past the Louvre and through the Tuileries to the Arc de Triomphe.

It's been a while since I've been to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, but I think the view from there is really good because it feels like you're really in the centre of things, with the 12 roads radiating from it. We stood at the top for quite a while, partly to take a rest from all the walking and partly to watch all the near misses with the traffic below!

Sketchy three frame photo. I'm just trying to experiment with these. Bear with me!
As a final stop off, we walked over to the Trocadero to get a better view of the Eiffel Tower. By chance, they were holding the same rollerblade and longboarding exhibition that Lucy had seen last year when we came over on holiday (the brassband on skates was most amusing). We watched the activities for a while before realising that we were thoroughly sunburnt! Time to head home, rest up for a little while and then go in search of steak and chips for dinner, and a early night.
