Bicycle bov'ver

Lucy and I spent most of today touring our local cycle shops to try to get a new rear axle for her bike. Obviously it was the last one in our area that we tried that stocked them! We bought the axle for 7€ and when the guy asked, we said we'd fix it at home. So we went, only to realise that we didn't have the tools when we got home. Lucky for us, the guys at the shop were cool, so we took the wheel to the shop, and they let us use the the tools to fix it there and gave us a few pointers to show us what to do.

I had a little play around with my bike too. Got the front gears working, the lock attached, the brakes adjusted to stop them from squeaking and a new seat clamp, so the seat doesn't tip back if you breathe on it.

This evening Benjamin came around to set up a new board, (and this is how we roll), we polished off a bottle of red while we set the board up!

Eva and Mark were passing by. I think Mark is more obsessed with my blog than I am because he made me take this picture of them in the street.

This is Benjamin skating home.If you squint really hard, you can just make out the ghost of his skating off in the top left corner of the photo.

Best one so far! Any pictures of the Newtons always make for a top post! Keep up the good work!
