tonnerre et foudre!
Today was the Mischief guys last full day in town, and it was a scorcher! They decided it was too hot to skate, so hit up the shops and checked out a little bit of the town. We went by Starcow and Collette to buy t-shirts, and generally wander about. We also went by the Paris Plage, which was packed out with sun worshippers.
I headed off for school afterwards. It got really humid at that point and really uncomfortable. We could see the dark clouds gathering in the distance and then a huge gust of wind whistled through the street, slamming windows where people had left them open from the heat, and in some cases breaking them! We heard the sound of shattering glass a few times and then the storm came.
I decided to try to get a couple of photos of the lightning and here's the results.

Lightning reflecting in the neighbours window, and the cloud as it swept in.
And here's some pictures of the lightshow we were treated to.

Once the weather died down, Bingo and the others came over to drop off the skatespot books and maps they'd been using and we hit up the bar down the street for a few farewell drinks.
