Had a bit of a lie-in today, and lounged around the villa until the afternoon, when we took another walk into town to sit on one of the beaches there for a little while.
Here's a couple of views on our way to the beach, walking down into town and then along the side of the old castle to reach the beach on the peninsular.




We sat on the beach for an hour or two, and after watching some of the locals playing boule, decided it was time to break out the set that we'd bought with us from Paris. We headed for a quiet beach, not too far from Collioure for a couple of games, until the sun went down and we had trouble trying to spot the jack, then we drove over to Port Vendres for some great pizzas. Port Vendres is a working port town, so there's plenty of boats and business going on, but it also has quite a few good restaurants.



Then it was a quick drive home and to bed.
