Keeping it local

This morning Lucy went to the market down the street at Oberkampf, to meet a friend and picked up the usual fruit and veg, but she also came back with a few cheesey treats that we've been picking at today. Nice!

Newton called a few times before he finally persuaded me to go for a coffee on the corner. Lucy and I went to meet him and Dennis was with him too. Unfortunately it started to rain, which put our plans of skating Christophe's mini-ramp on hold, so we all headed to our place to watch some videos.

The rain cleared up pretty quickly and then Mark got a call from Eva to meet in the park behind our apartment, as the sun was now shining nicely. We chilled there for a while and soaked up some rays, and saw our landlords in the park too. Just as we were leaving we bumped into Ursula coming home from work.
In the evening Benjamin came over to drop his keys. We're looking after Supergato for the next couple of days.
It feels a lot different here when compared with London. Here we know a lot of people in our neighbourhood, whereas in London we knew hardly anyone on our street, or in our local area.
