Lazy day

Being our penultimate day, and after all the travelling yesterday, we didn't do very much today. Lucy's parents went out to get some bungee rope to fix the reclining chairs we had, as the elastic in them had perished.
We all just relaxed, read books and chilled. This was my view for much of the day. I'm addicted to solitare on my phone!

Late in the afternoon we drove over to Port Vendres to play a little boule in the car park, as the surface is pretty good. When we arrived there was already another game in progress, but plenty of room for us to play as well.

In the evening, we headed down into town for a last meal at the restaurant on the promenade and sat there for quite a while, until the sun went down. Then we went for a last wander around the town, which was much quieter, as the annual festivities had finished the previous night.

Finally, we went to look as the remains of the old castle, which are lit up at night. However, I seemed to be having a bit of trouble with my camera and the lighting!

Castle photos are great - best pics on your site yet!

When's your birthday again?
